So I ended up following a YouTube on disassembly and did a full clean out, pulling it apart cleaning out the heat sink, fan, and power supply. Well for the last year or so the fans would get spinning so fast, I feared I was calling in my own 'Airstrike', playing COD.
I religiously cleaned my PS4 with canned air and vacuuming the side vents. I picked up this hard drive, and it works like a champ. I seemed to be catching errors increasingly. I replaced the hard drive with a hybrid for storage and better reliability.
